Agriculture × Technology

Agriculture has thousands of problems. We build technology to solve them.

CultivX is an agriculture technology company. We start with a real problem on the farm, then build our own products to solve it, with whatever it takes: hardware, software, data and automation.

01 · The opportunity

Farming runs on manual work, guesswork and thin margins.

Some of the most important work in the country happens with the least technology. Decisions rest on experience that is hard to pass on, problems are found too late, and data rarely turns into action.

That gap is the opportunity: not one product, but a layer of connected, intelligent and automated tools still waiting to be built, one problem at a time.

  1. 01FieldWhat is happening in the soil, the crop, the water and the machines.
  2. 02SignalSensors and devices turn it into readings.
  3. 03InsightReadings become a clear picture of what needs attention.

02 · Problems we work on

Different problems. One problem-first approach.

Each one costs growers time, water, labour or yield every season. We pick them one at a time and go deep.

  1. 01

    Water

    Irrigation timing and water control

Valves are still opened by hand, on a schedule kept in someone's head. Water and labour are lost to late, early or forgotten cycles.

  2. 02

    Crop health

    Crop health and early detection

Disease, pests and stress are usually caught after yield and quality have already been lost.

  3. 03

    Labour

    Labour and repetitive work

Skilled labour is scarce and expensive, and critical tasks depend on experience that is hard to pass on.

  4. 04

    Data

    Fragmented visibility

Growers have readings everywhere and answers nowhere. Decisions still rest on memory and guesswork.

  5. 05

    Climate

    Climate and weather risk

Weather is harder to plan around every season. The risk is felt on the farm, but rarely measured.

  6. 06

    Post-harvest

    Post-harvest loss

Handling, sorting, grading and storage quietly erode value between the field and the buyer.

03 · How we build

The CultivX operating model

The order matters. Technology comes fourth.

  1. 01

    Problem first

Start with what growers actually struggle with, not a technology looking for a use.

  2. 02

    Understand the workaround

Map today's manual, costly reality, and the exact point where it breaks.

  3. 03

    Measure what it costs

Time, labour, water, loss and risk: the things a solution must remove to be worth having.

  4. 04

    Choose the technology

Only then decide: hardware, software, sensors, data, automation, or a mix of them.

  5. 05

    Build for the field

Dust, heat, monsoon, power cuts and weak networks are the design brief, not edge cases.

  6. 06

    Scale

From one farm to many crops, regions and partners, once it works where it matters.

04 · What we're building

Many products. One company.

Every product carries its real stage: Research, In development, or Pilot once it is running on a farm. All products

In development

Irrigation and water control

Zone-by-zone valve control

A wireless controller for irrigation solenoid valves, so watering runs by zone and by schedule instead of by hand. Designed to keep working from its own switches when the network drops, with app control on top when it is available.

  • Zone-by-zone valve control
  • Works offline from physical switches
  • Schedules and sequences from an app
  • Automatic safety shut-off

05 · Technology

Technology is the enabling layer, not the identity.

The problem decides the tool. The best answers usually combine several disciplines, engineered for the conditions a farm actually has.

How we engineer for the field
  • EDGE

    Embedded and IoT

Controllers and sensors built for heat, dust, moisture and unreliable power.

  • LINK

    Connectivity

Wi-Fi today, with cellular and long-range radio planned for remote plots and patchy rural networks.

  • CLOUD

    Cloud and data

Pipelines that survive intermittent connections and keep each farm's data separate and secure.

  • VISION

    Computer vision

On-device perception for crops and plants, tuned for real light and real fields.

  • AUTO

    Automation and robotics

Physical systems that act on the field: precisely, repeatably and safely.

  • APPS

    Farm software

Mobile and web tools designed for the people who use them, in their language and units.

07 · Principles

What we hold to

  1. I

    First principles

We start with the crop and the grower, never with the tech stack. The problem decides the tool.

  2. II

    Hardware and intelligence together

Sensors without action are noise. Intelligence without a physical link to the field is theory. The strongest products combine both.

  3. III

Built to last in the field

A product has to survive the season, earn its place in daily work and be worth what it costs, before it is worth scaling.
